Girish Ratilal Shah — The Devotee Behind The Dream
Twenty-five years ago, a divine feeling arose in the heart of Girish Ratilal Shah, CEO of SMB Corporation of India. It was not a grand plan. It was a quiet longing — a bhav — the kind that takes root in a sincere heart and waits.
In 2017, during a visit to Dharampur, upon beholding the statue of Shrimad Rajchandraji at the Ashram, that bhav transformed. In that moment, the resolve became firm and unshakeable: to build a magnificent statue of Hanumanji in Nathdwara.
But this was not just a vision he held — it was one he carried on his feet, his hands, and his daily presence.
Girish Ratilal Shah returned to Nathdwara again and again. Before a lift existed, he walked 500 feet uphill to the site — and he did this for over a year and a half. Every contractor discussion, every proposal, every structural decision was taken on-site. When a contractor needed to be replaced, he managed the transition. When the ropeway proved insufficient for 10,000-kg columns, he found a new solution. He worked directly with structural engineers, reviewed drawings, and ensured that every weld, every coating, every detail met the standard the project demanded.
From the first day of sankalp to the final Lokarpan — he was present. Not as a donor from a distance, but as a builder on the ground.
Divine Guidance
Sanction & Blessings
The project moved forward with the sanction of Goswami Tilkayat Shri 108 Shri Indradamanji Maharajshri and the blessings of Goswami Shri 105 Shri Vishal Bawa Saheb.
Goswami Shri 105 Shri Vishal Bawa Saheb's meaningful guidance in selecting the sacred site brought clarity to where the statue would stand. His words — "Hanumanji is a protector here, move forward" — gave the project its irreversible momentum.

The spiritual strength to sustain this endeavour across three years came from the satsangs of Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji, Founder of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur.
" This aasadharan manorath (extraordinary spiritual desire) of a sadharan bhakt (ordinary devotee) has been fulfilled through the blessings of Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji and the inner strength gained from his spiritual discourses (Satsangs).”

A Collective Sadhana
This statue is the work of many hands and many minds — engineers, artists, specialists, and labourers — each of whom brought their highest skill to a summit no vehicle could reach.
मूर्तिकार: नरेश कुमावत (Maturam Arts Center, Jaipur)
Sculptor Naresh Kumar Kumawat brought over 20 years of experience to this — his most challenging site yet. In 2017, he created the world's tallest 34-foot statue of Shrimad Rajchandraji at the Dharampur Ashram. He credits the blessings he received from Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji at that time as a pivotal turning point in his career.

And the foundation beneath all of this: the labourers who climbed 500 feet on foot every day for over a year. Their sweat and steadiness live in every column of this statue.
The Statue
The 131-foot statue of Shri Shriji Ke Hanumanji depicts him as Sankatmochan — the Reliever of Troubles. He stands with hands folded in humility, his gaze turned toward the Shrinathji Temple below.
Visible from across Nathdwara, this is the world's tallest Hanuman statue atop a mountain peak with no road access — a landmark of devotion, engineering, and faith.
